    christmas gifts, but we just started dating???

    So I just started dating someone several weeks ago. A week before thanksgiving. We've been out a few times cause we've both had time off. It's not crazy in the sense of making plans for the holidays and meeting each others family. However, we do have several events booked, concert, football game etc. When is the cut off date to get someone a christmas gift or not? If getting him a gift cause you want too, what do I get him? What about a budget? Any thoughts or suggestions???

    Great Gifting That is Thoughtful as Well

    Because I'm a serial short-term dater, I actually have a really great solution for you. If it hits say Christmas or Valentine's and I've just started dating someone, I usually get a small/medium basket and fill it with all my favorite things. You can go as extravagant as you want (fill it with DVD of your favorite movie, a copy of your favorite book, tickets to your favorite play, etc.) or you can take the budget route filling it with your favorite candy bar, a candle with your favorite scent, a sample of your favorite coffee, etc. It's awesome because not only do they get a gift that is thoughtful and unique, but they get to learn about you simultaneously.

    Hope this helps spur some ideas!

    The lingerie is definitely a good idea you can maybe surprise him with a sexy Santa outfit and some dinner. Or a gift card to a place he likes and a few scratch offs. I think a gift card is a good way to go in a new relationship either 30 or 40 and a few scratch offs. Either way its the thought that counts. You should try discussing it with him so you guys can set a limit I do that every year with my bf what's the worse that can happen? Good luck!
